CoolLED To Olympus Coupling
A researcher needed to use their CoolLED light source on an Olympus IX71 microscope.
Solution
As the Olympus IX71 is a discontinued model, the epi-illuminator is no longer available to purchase. To help bring this microscope back to life, we modified our own Olympus IX71 epi-illuminator to include a direct attachment for their CoolLED light source. We used a custom 30mm diameter lens for maximum performance.
