Obscura Alligator Luminescence System
The Obscura Alligator is a light-tight, 180 L enclosure designed for sensitive optical recordings. It combines precise temperature, humidity, and CO₂ control
with a high-sensitivity EMCCD camera, optics optimised for very low light levels, and an anti-mist system – all integrated into a custom tissue culture incubator to protect your experiments from external interference.
The system can image up to six 96-well plates simultaneously and supports a wide range of sample types, including cells, tissues, and organotypic slices. It allows long-term bioluminescence recordings under physiologically relevant conditions and is fully compatible with major imaging software platforms, including Micro-Manager, VisiView, etc.
